Please consider including information about the latest changes in the 1.0.0.31 update, including the Screen Reader Compatibility option under the Accessibility sub-menu. Thanks.

Hi Darrell,
I’ve added an Accessibility link above, which goes to a page that talks about the Screen Reader compatibility stuff. I’ve also reproduced some steps you documented on your web site - I hope you don’t mind. Thanks again for all your assistance in this area.

Hello. I chose the highest bitrate and sampling rate for mp3 but the call quality still soudns a bit distorted and artifacty. Is the anythingi need to do to make it sound better? I can show you by calling echo123 and listening back to the recording. If anyone has a suggestion please I’m all ears.

Type your comment here.Hello. I got the sounds straightned out. Thanks for the help from he devs. I am now recording at 320kbps stereo 48khz. I can always dump it to mono later.

Hello there. I was using call burner and another call came in and I thought it would make a seprate file for the other call but unfortunitally now i’m going to have to find the other call and separate it out by hand. Is there a possibility that that might be implimented, another call comes in and a new file is started and the other call is paused? i don’t know how that wold get along with a screen reader but that would be a good idea. What do u all think? Thanks and I love the program.

Hi Sarah,
Yes, at present, if you are on a call and another call comes in, it’s all recorded together in one file.
We may add an option in future to allow them to be separated out into separate files.

Type your comment here.Yes that would be good. It is sort of teadious to do it by hand in my editing software. Thanks for considering my suggestion and hope it can be done.

Hello Paul and the CallBurner Gang,

I have just received CallBurner version 1.0.0.39 from a reliable source, but there’s no mention of it on the web site and it was not offered as an update from 1.0.0.35. What’s up? Is 1.0.0.39 public yet? Thanks.

Hi Darrell,
Thanks for the heads up. I’ve just updated the main download to 1.0.0.39.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi, I need to record interview calls with Skype and have no trouble (this is a great app) recording both sides of the call as a single sound file. But I’d like to be able to save each side of the call as a separate sound file. I thought this program let you do that but I can’t find an option in the help explaining how to make it work. Can you help with that? Thanks.

Hi Cynthia,
In the Recording options, near the bottom there is a checkbox “Store raw audio in addition to…”. This is the option you need to check.
Regards,
Paul

I’m looking at another product called Pamela.

1. How does your product compare to this alternative?

2. Do you have any features to offer that this one does not?

3. Why would I want to purchase your product vs. Pamela (or other competing product)?

Thank you. I look forward to your reply.

Donna

Hi Donna,

CallBurner is easier to use. It has a simpler and more effective UI. It also provides better quality recording. In addition, CallBurner has our proprietary “Anti-drift” technology to prevent loss of synchronization between callers on long calls. I am not aware of any other product that provides Anti-drift, apart from our other Skype recording product Skylook.

I recommend you try both to see the difference for yourself.

Regards,
Paul
